Junior Friends Organization

Junior Friends to meet at the Swansea Public Library

The newly formed Junior Friends are a volunteer group of young patrons who enjoy books, movies, music, crafts & outings. Membership is open to the public and the Junior Friends are currently seeking new members.

The Junior Friends help plan projects, volunteer time and service to the library, and work in partnership with the Friends of the Swansea Public Library.   They meet the fourth Thursday of every month at 3:30 PM in the Library under the supervision of Youth Services Librarian Carol Gafford and Circulation Librarian Sephi Alves & volunteer parents.

If you are a student in grades 7-12 (ages 12-17) and are interested in being a Junior Friend, please come to meeting or stop by the library and pick up an application at the front desk.
