Swansea Digital Equity Public Workshop

Do you or someone you know struggle with accessing the internet? If your answer is yes, we want to hear from you!
 
The Town of Swansea is working with SRPEDD to create a Municipal Digital Equity Plan. This plan will analyze the current state of internet access and digital equity in Swansea and provide recommendations for the town to address underserved populations in town to bridge the digital gaps.
 
A key part of this plan is input from Swansea community members. You can make your voice heard by:
 

Eyes On Owls -- Live Owl Show

Marcia and Mark Wilson of Eyes on Owls bring this live owl program to the Swansea Free Public Library!

They will introduce the audience to owls of New England and share the field marks, signs and skills that can be used to find owls without disturbing them.  Everyone will participate in a hooting lesson and learn tips on how to attract and protect owls where they live. 

This program is sponsored by the Swansea Cultural Council 

Beginners German language classes

The Swansea Free Public Library presents Beginners German language classes with Christel Amaral.  

Learn a new and exciting language  including basic words and phrases. Learn how to order food and drinks, tell time and ask for directions. Learn all about German Culture and History.  This language conversation group is great for those interested in practicing speaking in another language. This class is open to all levels of experience.
