Homeschoolers are invited to join the Tween Book Club which takes place the 2nd Monday of the month from 2-3PM in the Junior Room at the library. This month’s read is Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH by Robert C. O'Brien
This fiction book club meets the third Friday of each month (unless otherwise noted). We bring our lunch and discuss all types of fiction.
Join us for this monthly book club for children ages 8-14. This month the club is reading books about trees including The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein, The Man Who Planted Trees by Jean Giono, The Wish Tree by Katherine Applegate and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith. Read them all or choose one to read. We will discuss books and trees with snacks and refreshments. There’s a book for every reader. Reserve your books at the library.

Learn about the author, native american history and the California coast as we discuss the book, enjoy snacks and share our love of reading.
