Join Ed the Wizard for a morning of fun as he teaches everyone how to create aliens with the art of balloon twisting. Learn the art of balloon twisting as you create your own space alien.
This workshop is best for grades 1 and up, (ages 7 and up). Although Ed will provide hands on help as needed, children must have the basic manual dexterity and be able to hold, pinch, and twist a 2 inch diameter balloon; of course, parents are always welcomed to join in, make their own, and help! All materials are included.
Calling all Monster Fans: It's the monthly Monster Squad Club! Each month, the Monster Squad investigates and learns about a different monster. Snacks and crafts too.

Join us for this monthly book club for children ages 8-14. This month the club is reading books about trees including The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein, The Man Who Planted Trees by Jean Giono, The Wish Tree by Katherine Applegate and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith. Read them all or choose one to read. We will discuss books and trees with snacks and refreshments. There’s a book for every reader. Reserve your books at the library.
