Our mystery book club meets the first Wednesday of each month.  We enjoy all kinds of mystery and crime books from cozy to historical to modern thrillers.

This month's selection:  Snowblind by Ragnar Jonasson

The Swansea Free Public Library is pleased to announce the start of German language classes with Christel Amaral.  

Learn a new and exciting language  including basic words and phrases. Learn how to order food and drinks, tell time and ask for directions. Learn all about German Culture and History.  This language conversation group is great for those interested in practicing speaking in another language. This class is open to all levels of experience.  

Donations of plants will be accepted at the Library beginning Monday May 20th

Mystery authors Judy Copek, Coralie Jensen, and Barbara Struna will talk about how they use the techniques of the historical mystery to look at their readers' history and their own.
