Tales from Beatrix Potter

Peter Rabbit and Squirrel Nutkin fans take note: Betsy Bray, an international authority on Beatrix Potter presents a lively look at the remarkable life of this acclaimed children's author/illustrator. Her  talk includes the various roles played by Beatrix Potter over 77 years of her life, as author illustrator of 23 children’s books to her later life as sheep farmer, land conservationist, entrepreneur and community activist.  Betsy has been a Member of The Beatrix Potter Society for 38 years and served as the first overseas Trustee in the London based Beatrix Potter Society.

Writers' Group

Established group of adult writers of various levels from the community looking for some new members.
The writers' group meets monthly, exchanging pieces of writing and giving constructive critiques.

Monthly Spice Club

The newest club at the library, The Spice Club allows you to  try a different spice every month . Receive an information  pack about a spice, a recipe booklet, and a spice sample to use at home.  Sign up or stop by the library to pick the new kit while supplies last.

Join our GoodReads online book discussion club, Nothing But the Truth, the Non-Fiction Book Club.  Two titles will be selected per month that the group can read and discuss. Titles will be available from the library catalog.
